I have been in active practice in the same location in Bennington since 1986 and was a founding member of PCHP. I initially practiced the full range of family medicine including normal obstetrics but over time have focused more on chronic health issues and preventive medicine guiding my patients to live a long and healthy life.
In my spare time I've enjoyed partnering with my wife in raising a family. My favorite activities include a passion for cross-country skiing and also road bicycling. Before medical school my wife and I were Peace Corps Volunteers serving as school teachers in Ethiopia, and my dream for the future after I retire is to go back to Ethiopia as a volunteer, but this next time as a physician.

I was raised in Honolulu, Hawaii and enjoyed most of my free time at the beach. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Georgia State University. I worked in Telemetry, Step Down ICU, pediatrics, Gastroenterology adults and pediatrics, procedural sedation nursing, peri operatives and PACU over a period of 26 years. I obtained my Masters in Nursing at Walden University in 2018. I worked in Maryland specializing in Obesity and weight loss. I am very excited and feel blessed to be a part of Mount Anthony Primary Care.I have one grown son, a beautiful daughter-in-law and four energetic grandchildren living in Oahu.
In my free time I enjoy reading, yoga, traveling, the outdoors and volunteer work. I moved to Bennington because I like small town living, the beautiful state of Vermont and snow!
